Tips On How To Get Approved At Cost Per Action Networks

by : Ben Huebner

It can be a little tricky to get approved at Cost per Action networks, especially if you are a newbie in online marketing or cost per action marketing.

You need to understand:
CPA networks make their money for delivering results, so they don't want to wast their time with unprofessional partners, don't delivering results. There is an other reason, becomes your customer don't need to spend money in order for you to make a profit, it's much easier to "face" results, which means a great income loss for the network, thats why you need to look like a successful internet marketer. But in fact, it's not hard to look like a professional in order to get approved at CPA networks, if you keep some important points in mind. By following these points you increase you chances of approval dramatically.

Your Website
It's an important point to have a professional looking website, it hasn't to be a masterpiece of website, but you need to show "you know what you are doing".
If you set up a new website, don´t forget to do keyword research and optimize your website for the search engines. If you have already a website, optimize it if necessary and use it, this is the better option, of course. (So you got a website with a certain age, this looks even better.) I recommend to use a WP-Blog as website, if you start a new one, be sure to have at least 15 Blog post posted. (less may work too, but more are better)

You need a Phone number
In most cases you need to enter a valid Phone number when signing up for a CPA network. Be sure to be reachable. Many CPA networks are interviewing their potential partners a few minutes. Again, they only want to be sure you are knowing what you do in internet marketing.

E-mail address
You need an valid e-mail address in order to sign up. DON'T use free email accounts here, it's important to use your own domain e-mail address. (I recommend to set up a new e-mail address for CPA offers). You can increase your chances if you got an e-mail list, just add email-promotion or something similar to your marketing methods (mostly there will be a field to fill out when you sign up for CPA Networks).

Is Mutual Funds Are A Better Option For Retail Investors?

by : Lavanay

It is simply instinctive to get attracted toward equity. The success stories - few true and many false - of people having become millionaires overnight, are bound to allure anyone. But the fact is that Stock Market isn't easy money; Stock market is not everyone's cup of tea. It is our hard-earned savings, which is at stake. So let’s be very concrete about it.

Do you have adequate capital?

It is sheer common sense that a diversified portfolio with 18-20 stocks is less risky than a small portfolio with only 3-4 stocks. However, for a retail investor, capital is normally limited. With this small money supply it won't be likely for him to adequately diversify his/her portfolio. In such a condition, Mutual Funds extend an alternative to be a part of well-diversified portfolio even with small capital like $100. Naturally, a small portfolio can give super natural returns but on the other hand the risk is also very high. This high-risk high-reward scheme wouldn't be appropriate for absolute majority of retail investors. It just suits a couple of select expert investors who have lots of money to put into market. Also, with moderate capital it's hard to buy pricey shares like Google, Infosys etc. This drives us to buy low price stocks. Broadly speaking high-priced stocks will be good shares and low-priced stocks might not be that good shares. Hence, with limited capital you could end up with a inferior portfolio. Given the fact that moderate capital could mean small and inferior portfolio, Mutual Funds perhaps are more preferable path for those who cannot bring in enough money for investing

Do you have adequate knowledge and expertise?

Ok, let's be really honest and frank here.

- Do you have more expertise about companies, economy, market trends, etc. than a qualified and knowledgeable professional investment company?

- Can you interpret the balance sheet and Annual Reports as easily as an investment company and make right conclusions?

- Can you identify the future sectors of growth? Or those that could face a downswing in the immediate future?

- In short, are you more knowledgeable than an investment company?

In 99% cases, the answer would be ‘Nope’. So why do common retail investors enter the hard terrain of securities industry, when you have the chance to allow the exert people to do the task for you?

Do you have adequate time and resources?

Let's presume that you have big bucks to invest and also a really sound understanding of the equity markets. But do you have the third important criteria, "Time and Resources"?

There are numerous listed companies. Some of them are booming, some were booming and some will be booming. You need to purchase stocks that will be flourishing; you need to exit those whose flourishing phase is about to cease; and you need to hold on to those who are still in the success phase. The timing is very decisive for making fortune in stock markets.

Now this list keeps varying quite frequently and it calls for constant research to keep oneself updated. So, there won’t be many retail investors who can afford to devote time to study thousands of annual reports and tracking the performance of companies. Moreover, yearly reports are not all that is needed to research a company. How many of us can travel to company premises, contact their management and talk over their plans, earning expectations, etc.? Can you talk personally to the industry experts? Even if you can do all of this, can it be done on an ongoing basis - day after day every year?

So who is best person to do a sound research - a Mutual Fund with its’ experienced research squad or you, who are as too occupied with our own businesses/job? Unlike all this, opting for Mutual Funds is a comparatively much easier task. Also, it does not ask for close monitoring. Hence it becomes the finest option for retail investors to relish the yields of stock market, without being forced to commit lots of time and effort.

The Top Facebook Status Trends for 2009

Facebook Memology

The top most discussed topics of 2009 has been released by Facebook. It is taken based on daily status updates by Facebook members. To reach its conclusions, Facebook looked at how many times a given one- to four-word phrase was used in Facebook status updates, and then computed the rate at which each phrase was used in 2009 compared to 2008. The number one trend was Facebook applications, specifically the discussion of FarmVille in status updates. Farmville became the most talked-about application in status updates and now boasts over 72 million monthly active users. To be frankly, this games really addicted and I'm the one of the users.

Facebook New Privacy Settings

Facebook New Privacy Settings

Recently Facebook rolled out their new privacy settings. With the adjustment came an announcement that all users were forced to see, warning them that poor privacy setting management can come at a harsh price. The new privacy controls include some great changes, and some not-so-great changes. The major change involves friend lists on user profiles. Now no one can see a person's friend list unless that person designates it as viewable content. For more information on Facebook's privacy changes go to Facebook's privacy post.

Google Caffeine

by : Joe Owens

Google has once again dropped the bomb. Google Caffeine, the newest update on its already complex algorithm, is said to hit the worldwide web on the first quarter of 2010. Just like Project Daddy released in 2005, Google Caffeine is bound to change the playing field of Internet marketing. Internet users will definitely appreciate the changes, but it might really mean a whole lot of work for SEO specialists and website owners. Next year, Google spiders will be smarter, quicker, and definitely more discriminative in crawling sites, and if you are not up to these changes, do not expect your site to appear on search results.

So what are these changes and what are the ways by which an SEO company could adapt to these changes?

1. Google Caffeine loves content.
Relevant and original content has been always been the leading treat for Google spiders for years now, but with Google Caffeine bound to do its magic next year, generic contents, no matter how many they are, will do you no good. For the new version of Google, latest news is king. Search engine spiders will give more priority to news than your regular informative articles.

2. Google Caffeine loves to socialize.
Social networking has boomed so much in the recent years. It has changed the way people interact with one another. Now, instead of doing a press release, famous celebrities would rather “tweet” or post what has been happening in their lives on Facebook. It is even safe to say that almost everyone in the world regardless of race and color have accounts on these social networking sites. Because of this phenomenon, it is not a surprise see Facebook or Twitter posts on the first page of Google. In light of this, a top SEO company can harness the power of social networking to build traffic for a site.

3. Meta Tags count a lot.
This is an important part of onpage optimization, which unfortunately, most web owners fail to look into. If keyword-enriched meta tags are in place, Google spiders will find its way faster into a site. Make sure that the meta tags, both titles and descriptions, make sense in a way that they are not merely a bunch of keywords thrown together. They should really say what the site is all about, especially in the meta description.

4. If it takes time to load, it takes time to rank.
Many websites nowadays are highly minimalist in style, and this is not only for the sake of visual appeal. Website owners prefer uncluttered designs because they make loading faster, and when a site does not take forever to load, Google will most likely choose to give it higher priority. This actually makes perfect sense especially if you take into consideration the psychology of Internet users, which Google is really going for. In the first place, why would you put a site on the first page if users need to wait for an eternity for it to load? This is why web designers are not only designing to achieve that edgy aesthetic appealPsychology Articles, but also for the sake of the search engine friendliness of a website. Search engine specialists should make sure that this aspect of onpage optimization is also at par with Google’s standards.

Google AdSense and AdWords : Yin and Yang?

By: Nicholas LaPolla

Many websites include a section or two with the "Ads by Google" above it or below it. These are ads displayed via Google's AdSense. When you do a search on Google and see ads in the search results pages, they are generally AdSense ads.

AdSense - The Yin:

Google's AdSense is programming that "senses" the content of a page or search. It finds keywords on a web page or in a search phrase to determine the subject of the content. It does this by either "reading" the page, or taking a look at the search term that was typed into Google Search. It can "Sense" which ads in the system are relevant to the content or search and display them - thus: "AdSense."

Before ads on a page are displayed, AdSense searches its database of advertisers and finds ads that are associated with keywords on the page or in the search. Now AdSense needs to decide which of the thousands of ads vying for position are actually displayed. To make this decision, AsSense looks at the advertiser's bids for the relevant keywords. The advertisers that have a combination of the highest bid, keyword relevance and best click through get displayed first.

Google tracks clicks on ads and advertisers pay Google the bid price for each click. When the AdSense ad is on someone's web page, Google pays the website owner a portion of the payment for each click. The term "monetizing" your site refers to taking your existing site and placing ads like AdSense on it to make money (or finding other way to make money with websites). If you get 10,000 visitors and 10% of them click an ad that pays you, theoretically, $0.75 per click, you just made $750! Not bad for just copying some AdSense code (which Google provides) into your popular website's HTML (if your site is not popular, learn about SEO - Search Engine Optimization - from sites like AcmeWebResources).

AdWords - The Yang:

The other side to AdSense is AdWords. AdSense ads have lists of relevant keywords associated with them. Each keyword is bid on by the advertisers for placement in the results pages and on web sites around the world. The words that will prompt a display of an advertiser's ad are bid on by the advertiser. When an ad matches the words on a page, the ads are displayed; thus: AdWords. AdWords is the system in Google that is used to place ads that display in AdSense.

You can enroll in AdWords to pay for AdSense ads to drive traffic to your site. The first step is to sign up with Google. The next step is to associate keywords to associate with your site.

The idea is to drive traffic to your site through the use of relevant ads. The more relevant the ad to your content, the more targeted your traffic will be. Compose your articles around your list of keywords. Next, write an ad based on the keywords and assign keywords to the ad. You will bid on the keywords at the time you associate keywords with the ad. If one of your keywords is searched for or relevant to a site, and you have a good bid and relevant ad, your AdWord ad will be displayed. Only when someone clicks your ad are you charged by Google.

The more popular keywords are wanted by many competitors, so the prices per click can get pretty high. It is not uncommon for a click to cost $5 or even $10. If you have 10,000 ad clicks, after you account for your conversion rate (the rate that you convert visitors into buyers) you better be sure you are making more than the ad click costs! But it should never break your bank because you can set the bid limits and the monthly budget.

What if you can't afford $5.00 per click? Since the more popular keywords are so expensive, it is best to bid on less popular keywords because the cost per click is lower. Google presently has a minimum bid of $0.05 per click. If you can get those, you can reduce your advertising budget.

A popular site can make a lot of money, however, a lot of money and time can be wasted. To avoid waste, you have to learn as much as possible and get the right tools to do the research.

Google Homepage "Fades In" When The Page First Loads

If you are a Google users, did you recognized something different on Google homepage lately? All I can see is that Google didn't show any of the links in the image on the right of their pages until a homepage visitor moves his or her mouse. It shows only their logo, the search box and the buttons. Good idea actually because most people just use google for searching, so it makes sense in that way. So what's next Google!?
