Why Affiliates Program?
Many people go on the Internet looking for a way to start their own business. Most of them do not have a clue about what they're looking for. The easiest and most popular way to get your business off the ground is with affiliate marketing programs. It is free to start your home business this way.
So why are so many people starting their business using affiliate programs?
One reason is because it is free. The other reason is because all you have to do to get started is to find one or more affiliate programs that you want to promote. Then you just sign up with them for free. They will send you an email with your affiliate information and you are ready to get started. That is all there is to it. Depending on the length of the application you really can start an Internet business for free in just a couple of minutes.
Another reason that so many people use affiliate programs to start their internet business is because once you have signed up, they give you everything you need to get started. They will provide you with a website that you can start promoting within minutes after you sign up. They will also give you tools to help you market your new affiliate business. This can be both good and bad. For example, as an affiliate marketer using the same website as everyone else is a bad idea. For this reason you see many successful affiliate marketers starting their own websites and blogs.
The other thing about affiliate marketing tools is, unless you know how to use them properly they really are worthless. This would be kind of like handing a hammer and a saw to musician and asking them to build a house.
It just doesn't work because they have not been properly trained. You will have to learn how to use the tools that are offered to you for you to be successful with affiliate marketing. The good news is you have an excellent chance of doing that.
So as you can see it is very easy to start your internet business with affiliate programs. This is why so many people start their businesses this way. Anyone can do this type of business. You can be in business for yourself within a few minutes once you decide to get started.

How Long Does it Take to Write a Book?
One of the questions I get asked most often about writing a book is how long does it take to write a book? In a nutshell and without any sugar coating, the answer is very simple: as long as you decide it's going to take.
Let’s talk about creating a platform for your business. What does this mean? A platform is your foundation for creating ancillary products based on your content. What income-producing ancillary products can you create based on the content from your book? Lots and lots!
Here are just a few:
· Ebook
· Audio Program
· Coaching Program
· Workshops / Seminars / Events
· DVDs
· Tele-seminars
· Podcasts
All of these products can be created based on the content of your book. You simply repurpose them and sell them online via your website and blog.
Whether you are writing your book to build your business, something you have always wanted to do or a dream you want to fulfill, the length of time that it will take you to write a book all comes down to 3 simple things: preparation, commitment and dedication.
For some people, the idea of writing a book is as formidable a task as climbing a mountain. For others, it’s not the work itself that is so daunting, but the time required to complete it. After all, who has time to sit down and write a book?
I’ve asked hundreds of people, “How long do you think it takes to write a book?” The typical answer is anywhere from 3 months to a year. People are always surprised to learn that writing a book doesn’t have to take a long time and amazed when I tell them that they can complete their book in just a few weeks.
I have found that for many aspiring authors, writing a book seems like a giant monster and believe they need to set aside a big block of time to capture it. The truth is, you can write your book in just 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week. Honestly, it doesn't have to take huge blocks of time, a summer vacation or a sabbatical.
It all comes down to preparation and planning. Have you ever heard the riddle, "How do you eat an elephant?" -- one bite at a time. It's exactly the same for writing a book, you write your book one bite at a time.
How long do you think it will take to write yours?

Traffic for Your Blog?
Many bloggers are not taking the steps needed to optimize their blogs.
Why optimize your blog?
* Increase rankings of the blog on BOTH regular search engines as well as blog/RSS search engines
* Increase traffic to the blog from multiple sources such as social search and social bookmarking sites
Blog optimization relates to the changes to wording and layout on your blog. This is some of simple guide to optimising your blog for the search engines and building a steady stream of interested visitors.
Find the Right Keywords
The basis of ALL search engine rankings is keywords. Users enter keyphrases in Search Engines to get information they need, It is VERY important that you optimize for such keyphrases.
Use this tool to find related keywords to your main keyword. This will also show you how popular each keyword is.
Check the Placement of your Blogs Keywords
It is vital that your keywords and phrases are prominent. This refers to the placement and format of the keywords.
You should place your main keywords as the titles of a post, this shows search engines that they are the main point of the post and the a degree, the page.
Within reason you should bold, underline, italic and hyperlink your keywords when used in a sentence to build importance. As you develop importance on a keyword throughout your blog, you will build a site-wide theme showing these as the main keywords the search engines understand your site to be about, therefore ranking you higher than other sites which are less optimized.
Write your keywords at the beginning of a sentence and at the end to show it as natural as possible. DO NOT enter your keywords separated only by a comma, it is search engine spamming and you WILL be penalized! The more natural your keywords appear the better the quality of your content.
Socialize your blog
Inbound links are valuable so garner them. Cross link your website and blog. Notify other bloggers about your blog via comments and email. Join the conversation by writing posts that reference other blogs. Become a link hub, an authority site, by making your blog a real resource. You can also ramp up your traffic. Submit your feeds, either by hand or using tools like RSS submit. Make sure pinking is turned on. Claim your feed at Technorati and subscribe to your own feeds. Use My Yahoo and My MSN accounts to submit to these search engines. Track which engines you are listed in.
RSS
Make sure you have RSS available. Many hosted blogging solutions don’t have RSS automatically available, so you will need to add it. And when you do add it, ensure you have those RSS links in an obvious spot. Don’t tuck them away at the very bottom of your index page after your most recent 20 entries, or hide them on a separate About Us page. Place all those handy subscribe links in your sidebar, which is exactly where people will look for them. If you use Feedburner currently, have a look at their new MyBrand option which allows you to host your own feeds for a seamless user experience.
Ping
Ping the major RSS feed and Blog search engines each time you post. This can be configured with blog software such as Movable Type or WordPress to work automatically. If you're using Blogger.com, then you can do this manually with Pingomatic or Pingoat.
Spread the Word
While it may not seem like much, telling people you know can help you build a site. People you know can offer advice on design, topics, etc. and let people they know about your site. People who know you are also far more likely to comment on your postings, making your site look more active, thereby encouraging others to do the same. If you choose to do this step, ask the person to tell 3 other people they know about your site. This will in effect create a small network of people reading and commenting on your site. Plus, if they really like your site they’ll continue to tell others about it.
No matter how many optimization tactics you employ on a blog, there is no substitute for quality content. I admit that.
